Winter Internship For International Students

Mr. Zhiqian Chen, student of University of Auckland, New Zealand has carried out an internship from January 2017 to March 2017 at the Department of Computer Science Engineering. Mr. Zhiqian Chen carried out the work entitled “Video Analysis and Feature Extraction Methods for Human Action Recognition” under the supervision of Prof. D R Gangodkar and Asst. Prof. Vikas Tripathi.

Mr. Northey Saunders, student of University of Western Australia, Australia has carried out an internship from January 2017 to February 2017 at the Department of Civil Engineering. Mr. Northey Saunders carried out the work entitled “Seismic Pile Design  – Dynamic Soil Pile Intercation using Finite Element Software” under the supervision of Prof. P K Emani.

Mr. Christian Humberto Zurita, student of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany has carried out an internship from January 2017 to February 2017 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Christian Humberto Zurita carried out the work entitled “Response of a rotor dynamic system by considering the stiffness and damping of the sysytem” under the supervision of Prof. Pravin Patil and Asst. Prof. Saurabh Kumar Yadav.

Mr. Mohamed El Gammal, student of German University in Cairo, Egypt has carried out an internship from January 2017 to February 2017 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Mohamed El Gammal carried out the work entitled “Control of a Quadcopter UAV using LQR controller” under the supervision of Prof. Pravin Patil and Asst. Prof. Pushpendra Kumar.
