“World Telecommunication And Information Society Day” Digital Technologies For Older Persons And Healthy Ageing

Brief: May 17 in celebrated as The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day annually to raise awareness about the opportunities and possibilities that the use of the internet and other information and communication technologies brings to nations, societies, and economies. It also aims to spread awareness about the ways to bridge the digital divide.

The Executive Committee of IEI Qatar Chapter in association with World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO-CIC) hoosted the webinar titled: “World Telecommunication and Information Society Day” Webinar on the Theme “ Digital technologies for older persons and healthy ageing”   on Tuesday, 17th May, 2022
