Alumni Interaction – Career Planning: Campus To Corporate

The Department of Commerce organized an “Alumni Interaction Session” for the students on December 17, 2022, on the topic “Career Planning: Campus to Corporate.” Our Alumni Ms. Palak Bansal, CMA, currently working in the Audit and Assurance Department of Deloitte in Washington, US, was the spokesperson for the session. She is a 2015–2018 B.Com. (Hons.) graduate. She discussed with students her journey from Graphic Era Deemed to be University to corporate world. She told them the importance of campus placement. She further described it with the help of suitable examples. Further, she discussed the errors students usually make while looking for jobs and how they can manage their time and resources to enhance their skills. The session was highly interactive, and students clarified their doubts with alumni.
